Research, development, and innovation are activities that guide J.A Animal Health since its foundation. Its planner intended to innovate in the veterinary market offering higher efficacy drugs, with easy-to-use and positive cost/benefit protocols.

For the new products and services innovation, the company has technical staff comprised by PhDs, masters, and graduates in pharmacy and veterinarian medicine, in addition the exclusive area for research and development of new formulations, with support of the Physical-Chemical/Microbiological Quality Control labs and RD&I (Research, development, and innovation), with up-to-date laboratory equipment.


Further, the company has partnerships with universities, technology company and technology and innovation funding entities, such as, CNPq e Banco Nacional do Desenvolvimento – BNDES [Brazilian Developmenet Bank]. J.A was the first veterinary industry in Brazil to achieve approval, in 2008, of a technological innovation project before BNDES for developing innovative products. Such partnership has been continued ever since, with a second innovation project in progress.
